Submitting Advertisements

We offer four methods for you to submit your advertisements. You can either enter live on to the website through a form, email an Excel Spreadsheet, email a CSV file to us, or upload a CSV file to our FTP server.
The table below describes the method we recommend you to use.

You will need to register with us before you can proceed to submit any advertisements, please click here to register, or select 'Advertise' from the above menu bar.

Submit Online
This method simply allows you to enter one or more advertisement(s) directly onto the website without having to worry about CSV and FTP. Once you have submitted your advertisements they will be published within 24 hours after review though this time is usually much shorter. This method is suitable for those wishing to use a very simple method and have few advertisements to submit.

Simply click on advertise to start submitting your properties.

Of course we don't mind if you use this method even if you have a large number of advertisements (As per the 'Advertising Options' selected at registration). It is completely up to you.

Email an Excel Spreadsheet
To save yourself time you can submit advertisements by emailing an Excel Spreadsheet to us. You can download either the Sales, Lettings, Student, Holiday Accommodation Spreadsheet or all four, depending on the type of properties you would like to submit.

To use this method you can download the Excel spreadsheets as well as more detailed instructions below.

This is by far the easiest method to submit advertisements for users who have a medium to large number of properies. Once verified to use this method you simply email us your spreadsheet and pictures which we then process ourselves. This method removes the need for detailed technical knowledge freeing up your time to concentrate on running your business.

Advertisements are usually published 24 hours after your email is received although this time is usually much shorter.

Once you have started using this method it is advised you do not submit/amend properties on the website. This is because changes made will not reflect on the spreadsheet.

Email a CSV (Comma Seperated Value) file
You can submit advertisements by emailing a CSV file to us. You can download instructions for creating a CSV file below.

This method is ideal for uploading medium to large numbers of advertisements quickly and effectively without having to log on to the website. You can also update and change pictures and floor plans if you wish. Once verified to use this method you simply email us your CSV file and pictures which we then process ourselves. This method removes the need for detailed technical knowledge freeing up your time to concentrate on running your business.

Upload a CSV file (FTP)
To save even more time you can upload your advertisements directly onto our server. We will provide you with instructions for creating a CSV file which you can also download using the link below.

Once your registration is complete, or if you are already registered you will need to contact us here for verification to use this method. We will then send you a unique upload ID, password and FTP address that you can use to connect to us.

This method is ideal for those wishing to upload a medium to large number of advertisements and have some technical knowledge about connecting to FTP. You will need an FTP client such as FileZilla which is freely available.

Please be sure that the CSV file is a text file that conforms to the above specification or our systems will not accept it and you will then be sent an email outlining the errors.

Once you have started using this method it is advised you do not submit/amend properties on the website. This is because changes made will not reflect on the CSV file.
